Lilly shrugged. "You don't have to. If I can get a job as a maid at the motel, I can take care of us both for awhile, so don't worry about it, okay?" She turned and smiled at her. "If anything, you can at least help me shop for the things we need. I'll make a list, and we'll find the alley-markets for the less important necessities. The biggest things we need are a tent, sleeping bags, and shoes. A decent tent is...You should..." she frowned. "...Do you know how to do research?"

"A tent and sleeping bags? What for?" Cahira asked. "I need nothing of the sort." She was used to sleeping outside all of the time, in all sorts of weather, be it blizzard or intense heat. Rarely did she sleep in any human made forms of comfort. "Research? Like tracking? Yes, I can track for things, a large kill..." She trailed, grinning wolfishly.

Lilly stared at her for a few long moments. "You're sort of useless here, huh?" she asked and sighed. "We absolutely need the tent and sleeping bags. The tent is good for warding off the weather and other animals- I know you can fight, but I can't. The sleeping bag is additional warmth. We also need maps, but they aren't too bad, I don't think." Everyone uses maps, right? She'd assume so anyways.

"You save your... Money then... Get a small tent and one sleeping bag, i'll survive without it. I do not want any of those ridiculous things." She gave a nod of her head, a very serious one, and looked away, highly annoyed with Lilly. Honestly, this wolf was practically a human.

Lilly frowned. "Well...alright," she mumbled worriedly. "C'mon, lets get to the motel." She lead the way over and found it. After a little while of talking with the owner- a friendly Korean woman- she hired her for four weeks.
"We are here for a month, free of charge, so long as I work everyday from sunup to sundown," she informed Cahira. "We can use what's left of my money for food...What do you usually eat?" she asked, leading the way to their room and opening it up. THere was only one bed. A loveseat. And a bathroom, a closet, and a TV. "...Wanna share the bed?" she asked cahira with a grin.

"I'll sleep on the floor, you will not buy me food, I will go and get it myself, i'll eat rats and and whatever else happens to wander by." Cahira would hunt through the alleys at night, that's what she'd decided. She would not really on these human means of getting things, like money and what not. "I will also... Try to find a way to work." Cahira frowned to herself, thinking about it a little.

Lilly frowned and set the stuff she had down. She pulled out Cahira's jacket and handed it to her. "Do you want this washed?" she asked while looking at her feet. "We do need to get you shoes at least- for the city. You don't have to wear them on the journey, just in the towns, okay?"

Cahira snatched the jacket away, holding it close and shaking her head. "Don't touch it, don't wash it, don't fix it." She warned softly and caressed the jacket with gentle hands, feeling the crusted blood on it and sighing. "I will wear shoes when I have too."

"Okay. We'll get you the kind that slip on and off quick and are very free for your feet- I think they're called slippers," she said and unpacked her things. It was a lot of herbs and one thick old book. She changed out of her clothes and pulled on a simple dress. She preferred girly clothes to pants. She had one pair, for the winter.

Cahira looked at Lilly's clothes and shook her head. Far to feminine, Cahira was used to wearing male clothes because of her status as a hunter. Besides, jeans and tight shirts didn't get caught on things when running like flowy clothes did. "Slippers... Alright." She gave a simply nod, she supposed that woul dbe alright, if they came off easy that would be good. Cahira looked at Lilly cautiously, "You will be safe doing this job?"

Lilly shrugged. "Doubtful, but I'm alright with that," she replied as she opened her book up. It was written in some weird language- an interpretation of wolf speech. Cahira should recognize most of the words, some were a little hard to distinguish. "I'll be alright, Cahira. Worry about you, okay?"

Cahira snorted and snarled in distaste before sitting on the ground. "Fine, i'll worry about myself." She'd worry about Lilly though, Lilly was her travelling companion after all. She may not have liked it, but she had to watch the weak-creature because it knew more than she did.

Over the next four weeks, Lilly worked as a maid to earn money. SHe was groped, fondled, and nearly assaulted a few times, but she was also hugged, complimented, and even tipped on the job. So it had its ups and downs, as anything in life. She earned enough for everything and would go buy them in her free time with Cahira. Lilly spent a lot of her free time at the library too, simply reading about things.
It was time to head out though. She packed her back and looked at Cahira at sunrise. "Ready to go?" she asked, rubbing her eyes sleepily. SHe was ready for a nice long nap, but there wasn't time. They had to start out.

Cahira glanced at Lilly and gave a simple nod of her head, glad to be travelling again. She'd been unable to find jobs, but she'd eaten pretty well, lots of vermin around to munch on. She never spoke of Lilly being touched either, though she'd been able to smell the scent of others on the girls body.
How she despised every one. The girl hugged her jacket to her, smelled it and then followed Lilly. "It's about time we get to leave." She looked annoyed and she still also was very rude and untrusting toward Lilly.

Lilly grunted. "Ever impatient as usual," she muttered and examined the map once they were on the road. She lead them to the outskirts of the town where there was woods again, but not their woods. Lilly read the map for a few moments before showing the way through the woods. "So, Cahira, tell me about your life," Lilly suddenly asked after putting the map away.
