Lilly nodded. "Very much so," she murmured quietly. "What about pack? What was it like?" she asked, but had her own guesses based on Cahira's own habits. She crossed her legs and rolled the rabbit again.

"We slept in a large cave together... In our wolf forms, sometimes with a fire, sometimes without one. All food was eaten raw, mostly unskinned, we wore human clothing, only for protective purposes, but rarely any shoes..." She trailed off, thinking about all of it for a moment or two. "No houses or huts... No modernization. We lived like we were supposed to. Naturally."

"So you very much like being a wolf," she murmured and pulled her food off the fire and set it on the ground. She ate slowly, picking her way through some of the rabbit. She didn't eat it all- instead, she pulled out some salt they had purchased as well and dehydrated the rabbit. This way she could eat it over the next few days. She put the salt away and wrapped the rabbit up, and then warmed herself by the fire.

Cahira finished her own meal and then stood, swaggering over to the base of a tree and laying herself down. She curled up and closed her eyes, she would rather sleep by herself, even though she was used to sleeping with her pack and missed them very much. Lilly, who did not like what she was, did not comfort Cahira like her pack mates had used too. "Rest." The girl spoke gruffly, waiting for Lilly to sleep, she could never fall into unconcious before anyone else.

Lilly arched an eyebrow but shrugged. "Alright. Feel free to come into the tent..." she said and stepped into it. She got naked and curled under her sleeping bag, and fell into a light, restless sleep. She missed the bed back at the motel- but she liked traveling so far. It was nice.

FF - A Week into the City
Over the last whiel Cahira had definitly become more protective of Lilly, and whenever the older female did something stupid or submissive she'd grow for tired of it very quickly. A couple of times she'd even snapped at her or when in her wolf form gave the female a chomp in order to get her in line.
Now though they were back in the city, and she was even more cranky than usual.

Lilly wold snap angrily at Cahira each time she protested. The female was getting on her nerves as well. She was happy to be in the city once more, and put behind the irritating female.
They were out of money though, so Lilly trudged out to find a job. She told Cahira to do the same. She walked through motels, hotels, and other various places before a small restaurant hired her as a dishwasher.
The manager gave her and Cahira a place to stay in his guest room. Lilly showered and curled up in the bed, ignoring Cahira and her protests if she had any.
A few days passed and they were still struggling for food, at least on Lilly's salary. Her manager had been eyeballing her for awhile and approached her one day after work before taking her home. "I'll give you as much money as you need to pay for your necessities....if you do something in return," he offered after she was in the car. Lilly hesitated, looking at him slowly.
"Like...What?" she asked slowly, looking hesitant. But on her salary, they'd be here for another month at this rate. They'd been here for three weeks without much gain. The man motioned to her mouth and his private area, and let her do the math.
Lilly frowned deeply to herself. Cahira hated when she became submissive or let someone do something...not great. Cahira would say no in this situation, she was sure. "If I decline...?" she asked, looking at him nervously.
He stopped the car abruptly and looked at her with dangerous eyes. "I'll kick you out of my house if you don't do it," he answered suddenly and locked the door. Lilly kept trying to get out but he was faster and yanked her by the hair and pulled her down into his lap. She struggled and ended up shifting, attacking him. He passed out from fright, and she got out and ran the way to the house, bursting into the door. She gathered her things and Cahira and raced away from the house to find some new sort of shelter- on the outskirts of the city.

Cahira looked actually happy about this, very happy indeed. And when they finally settled down from running she let out a laugh, a hard, very amused one. "You attacked someone! Why not kill them though?! You'd of gotten a meal, a fine one too, way to let a great oppurtunity slip away from you." She grinned nastily at Lilly but there was a look of pride in her eyes, burning.
"You did something smart for once though I suppose." The young one sighed and brought her jacket up to her nose, taking in a deep inhale of it and closing her eyes. "Very good." She was praising Lilly, literally praising her for something she'd done.

Lilly huffed and glared at Cahira. "You know, you are absolutely vile" she suddenly snapped at her, shoving the younger girl down. She glared down at her, absolutely enraged. "You dare to get all high and above me about something as petty as being touched, when you think murder is okay? God, I don't know why I keep looking out for you- you're such a dumbshit!" She stalked away from Cahira, planning to leave her behind (only not really, she didn't have the heart to). But she was definitely angry at her. "Fucking judgmental little brat, that's what you are!" Course, she was being that too...She started off more into the distance, muttering under her breath all the while.

Cahira sat in the dirt, watching Lilly walk off for a moment before she started to laugh again, unable to take Lilly seriously. "Says the one that hates her own kind and can't stand to be a wolf, usless to her own pack... You call me a dumbshit, I know that surviving means to eat, find shelter, and warmth. Killing other animals it's life! Humans are animals! He coudl've killed you if he wanted to!" She shouted loudly after Lilly and then stood up, watching the female leave, her grey eyes amused but undoubedtly uncaring. Absently she started to follow, grinning wickedly all of the while.

Lilly turned and glared at her with an unnatural coldness there. "I may have been useless to my pack, but at least my pack wasn't nearly as useless and outdated as your pack was...Where is this strong group who can survive? Oh, that's right, their dead" she screamed at her angrily and then waited to be attacked again. That's all Cahira was good for anyways- fighting and killing.

"You'd think that wouldn't you? But you didn't know them." Cahira picked at one of her teeth, her eyes dark and murderous even though her stance was very calm. She continued toward Lilly, her body relaxed. "Talk about them badly anymore and i'll kill you, Lilly. I can only show mercy or generosity every so often." She was serious, her tone wasn't changing, her face showed blithe nonconcern, but her eyes told a different story. If Lilly jumped to conclusions or said anything about Cahira's pack then it would be over, she would die. "I'll hunt tonight, i'll catch your food first, then go out by myself, probably won't return until morning." She walked right past Lilly, not wasting a glance at her.

"Fuck off, I don't need your charity," she called after her and went the opposite way of Cahira on purpose. The girl could go about her lonesome life in the stupid woods for the rest of eternity for all Lilly cared. She headed away from Cahira until sunrise, and finally took out her map to find out where she would go. There was a train not far from where she was, so she headed towards that. She suddenly stopped and screamed in pure frustration, threw a few rocks and what not. She found she hated the child, even though she felt bad for her. She panted in anger, wanting nothing more than to punch something. She threw a few more rocks before picking up again to the train.

Cahira paid no mind to Lilly, it was about time the girl got angry after all. She walked away, following her nose to the smell of other animals. With her sharp sense of hearing she could tell that it was Lilly who had screamed, though the woman was in no danger. Cahira sighed to herself, wondering why she was even bothering to do what she was planning on doing. Follow Lilly that is and if the other was in danger or hungry then she'd help. It would have just been easiar to put Lilly out of her misery though.

Lilly got to the station and examined the costs of tickets. Her eyes flickered around and spotted a way onto the train without paying- the coal carts. She climbed her way up quickly and got nestled, and waited for the train to start. She caught wind of Cahira nearby and scowled. Stupid fucking brat.
