She got out when she was fifteen, of slavery, and she went and dated this guy for three years and then married him, but she doesn't love him at all- he has money."

He nodded, having heard of similar cases before. Just then, the waitress brought their food out, smiling and putting the plates of food in front of them. "Do you like it?" he asked, remembering this was her first time having actual italian food.

Lilly took a few bites, before nodding energetically. "Yes, it's very good...Is there anywhere I could get the recipe?" she asked, knowing htis would be something she'd want to eat some time again.

"Online?" she repeated, not used to that termonology. "You mean on a computer?" Lilly did not own such devices. The most technological thing she probably did own was a cell phone.

"Yes." he said, remembering she wasn't used to all of the current terminology. Realixing she probably didn't have a computer, he said, "I could look a recipe up for you if you'd like."

"You don't have too. I'll find a cookbook sometime, at the library," she said. seh went there a lot for books- cook books- since she was saving money for a puppy.

Lilly cringed. "You really want to know that stuff?" she asked, not uncomfortable for her sake, but for his. She went through some bad stuff, really bad stuff. "I mean...It doesn't have a good beginning or middle. Only a good end."

Lilly waited for him to answer her question with a real answer. She sipped her water and finished her food while she did this. She ate rather quickly- old habits die hard.

"Yes, I want to hear." he sais, realizing she wouldn't proceed unless she got the answer she wanted. "But only if you comfortable telling me." he added, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable.

"Tell me eveything thats important- everything you think has brought you to where you are now and affected you as a person."
