Seer's smile grew a little and he walked back around his desk, taking himself a seat and leaning back comfortably. "I'd offer you a seat but this really won't take long," He began politely, appraising Padraic as he spoke, "now, we will be discussing matters over the treaty on a bit of a later basis due to absences in the Court." He sighed a little at this, he really hated to have to make people wait but there wasn't anything he could do. "I would also just like to welcome you to our Realm and I hope that everything will go peacefully and that your time here will be held in good memory. Is there anything that you may need during your stay here? Any pre-requests at all?" Seer was very willing to see that Padraic was comfortable during his stay.

Padraic was not suprised that the meeting would have to be postponed for a time, absences in court always happend, there wasn't anything one could do about it. He would use the time to adjust to the new environment so that when the time came for debate he would be ready. He gave a small polite nod when he was formally welcomed and thought hard about Seer's question. "A guarentee that where I will reside will be free of iron is all I require." he answered honestly, that was really the only thing he could think of.

The high elf gave a patient smile and nodded his head. "Alright, the room provided to you shall be free of all iron." He cleared his throat and sat up a little. "I'll just summon my daughter to escort you to your quarters." Seer gave a tap on his wooden desk and a couple of moments later the double doors to the room opened up to reveal Faye, she gave the oth of them large grins. "Faye, could you please-"
"-It would be my absolute pleasure, father." Faye cut him off, grinning and watching Padraic from behind her hair. "If you could just please follow me i'll take you to your room." She spoke in an exaggeratedly elegant tone of voice and moved out of the doorway, smiling whimsically.

Padraic gave a final nod of both thanks and respect to Seer before walking over to where Faye was. He half expected her to start running once again. He hoped she'd contain herself though. It was much easier for him to memorize where he was going when he was in this form.
((Sorry my replies are kinda suckish, I've run out of time to procrastinate on my final project but I still don't know what I'm doing so I'm a little distracted))

Faye watched him move toward her and then closed the door once he'd left the room. She looked him over and then set her eyes on his face, "Do you smile much?" She asked out of the blue and started to walk at an easy-going pace, her bare feet making not a single noise as they touched the cold marbled flooring.

Padraic walked alongside her without a problem. He was in no rush. "Not often, no." he replied as he walked, equally as soundless as her. Usually when his lips formed anything other then a straight line or a frown they look the form of a smirk, which he didn't think she'd consider as a smile.

"I hadn't thought so, that's to bad, you seem like you'd have a beautiful smile." She commented without care, she spoke what was on her mind no matter what, it was a both a gift and a curse. "Do you not smile because you don't wish to or do you find there isn't anything to smile about in your life?"

The loosness with which she spoke was slightly unsettling to Padraic and he suspected that many of the elves did not share Faye's loose tongue. He was used to thinking about and guarding what he said. "I think that it is a combination of both those things. Do you always talk to strangers like this?"

"Well, you're not a stranger, you're an acquaintance. But, to put it simply, yes. I do speak to everyone like this." Faye licked her bottom lip, momentarily exposing her pierced tongue. "I don't feel there's a need to hide what's on my mind, it's so much harder to live when you keep your thoughts to yourself." She commented honestly as they walked down a long curving hall, on the right side of which were windows, allowing in rays of glittering sunlight to seep inside, warming them as they passed by.

"That is an... interesting way to view the situation." he allowed. Padraic still felt that there was a difference between saying what was on your mind because it was relevant and saying what was on your mind just because. It would have been rude to tell her that though.

She could feel his indecision and his doubt about the way she was but just laughed. "You're very dull." Faye pointed out without care. She wanted people to know how she felt, everything she said was relevant. "Your features are misleading, though all features are misleading, never judge a book by its cover." The elf suddenly quickened her pace and walked ahead of him, they were almost to his room.

"You say I'm dull now but I suspect that means different things to you and I." he told her, easily matching his pace with her faster one. "I'm sure my features lead you to believe I would be slightly more... less refined than I am, correct?"

She turned her head a little, her sharp chin angled in his direction and her soft lips firmly pressed together. "Perhaps they did, you're appearance does have a bit of a wildness about it." The firmness in her face let up and she grinned at him, her canines a little sharp. "What does dull mean to you, love?"

"Dull to me.... It means someone is useless, uninteresting, of no value. That someone has nothing to offer me." he attempted to explain, struggling to put his definition into words. He could think of people back home who fit his idea of dull but their names would mean nothing to her.

Faye hummed and stopped infront of a set of polished wooden doors with golden handles, she opened then up and stepped inside. "Ah, so indeed we do have different views on what we find 'dull' to be." She spun to face him, her hands set on her hips, her smile large and charming. "This is your room," She gestured around the large area which held a bed, a desk, a set of furniture and some hanging plants her and there. "There's a balcony just out through those glass doors, there's a beautiful view of the forest." Faye let out a breath and her eyes scanned him once more, "Anything you need?"
