Padraic looked past her and into the room, giving a mental nod in approval. "No, everything seems satisfactory. Thank you for leading me to it." he told her, stepping to the side slighlty so that he could get a better view. He didn't comment on her admission that he was right about their viewpoints. "Are you going to retrieve me should I be summoned to Court or anywhere else?"

Faye gave a soft questioning hum, having been daydreaming a little as he had inspected the room. "Ah, I may come and get you if my father requests it but otherwise you'll be escorted if summoned by a number of different servants." She explained rather seriously. "Then again though I think that I might retrieve you from now on, just for a bit of fun." Her eyes lit up behind her hair and she laughed a little as she headed for the door.

Her serious tone caught him slightly offguard. Though he wouldn't admit it to her, he hoped she would be the one to get him occasionally. She certianly made for interesting conversation. He moved more to the side as she passed. Padraic watched her walk by, without any parting words escaping his lips. He felt it slightly rude to say nothing to her, but he could think of nothing to say.

She paused just outside the doors and turned around, taking hold of the door handles and rocking back and forth on her heels a little. "Will you be joining us all for dinner this evening or would you rather rest and take your meal in your room?" She asked in a mock regal tone of voice.

Padraic raised an eyebrow at her mock regal tone but betrayed no amusement. "I would prefer to join everyone for dinner." he replied. Mealtimes were a great oppritunity for learning about the environment. Tongues were often much looser at dinner then the other meals.

"Wonderful!" She chirped and then gave a very low bow, before shooting upright once more, her face straight. "If anything is needed then just pull on this rope," She gave a wave of her hand toward a long rope near the door, "and someone will be around to help you as soon as possible." And with that she exited the room, closing the doors as she backed away.

He bowed back respectfully in appreciation and kept his eyes on her until the doors were closed. Once he was alone Padraic gave the room a proper inspection which confirmed that the room would be suitable. He immideatly went about putting his clothes away and making minor changes to the room he was sure he would be spending much of his time in.

At six o'clock exactly there was a knock on Padraic's door. Faye stood in the hall wearing a flowy dress of sorts that was cut off mid-thigh and had sleeves that waved out below her elbows. She was barefoot as always and had many long beaded and jeweled necklaces hanging down her front accompanied by many bracelets gathered on her right arm. Faye always made a minor attempt to look slightly suitable for dinner, especially when they had a guest of sorts dining with them.

The faerie had been sitting at the desk, journaling his day so far when he heard the knock at the door. Silently closing the book he placed it inside one of the drawers then stood, making his way over to the door. He was dressed in a simple but nice tunic and leggings with slipper style shoes- traditional dress for his kind. He gave an almost smile when he opened the door and saw Faye. "You look lovely." he complimented easily and honestly.

"Awe, such a polite man!" She teased and set her hands on her hips before walking around him in a circle, giving him the once over before nodding her head in approval. "Positively dashing." She commented before smiling kindly. "Are you ready for dinner?"

"I try, I try." he replied to both her tease and her compliment. Her approval of his outfit boasted his already high confidence. "I am ready." Padraic told her, gesturing to the doorway for her to lead the way. "I trust that you will be kind enough to give me some advice for getting through dinner unscathed."

Faye smiled and began her journey to escort him to the dinner hall. "Mm, well... It would be quite funny to see what sort of mistakes you'd make..." She trailed off, sounding thoughtful, which in fact she was. Right now she had to decide if she was going to help him or if she was going to watch him try to stay afloat at tonights meal.

Without looking back at the room he closed his bedroom doors as he followed after her. "It would also be quite impolite to leave me to completely fend for myself. Come now, I'd gotten the impression that you wanted us to be friends."

Faye gave another long hum before letting out a soft sigh. "I suppose you're right, it would be impolite not to help you." She took a moment to grab onto his arm, hooking it with hers and walking along next to him, tell and proud like an elf should be. "Tell me what knowledge you do have of elven custom."

"I know that it is similar to my own in the fact that politeness is key. Ettiqute and respect are of great importance. Where your customs specifically differ from mine I am unsure as I was not given that information." Padraic had only a few days to study and prepare for this assignment. He was given the basics and nothing more. There was a reason no one else had applied for the job.
